Summary of the meeting;
 
Our newest member, Pete Russell, was introduced and his team name will be the Friars.   
He will be taking over the Bombers team and draft picks.  

2025 Awards as voted by all of you:

MVP - Judge, Sharks

Cy Young - Sale, Barracudas

Reliever - Miller, Sharks

Manager - Alan Foonberg, Killer Yaks

Mike D provided a Treasurer report and we have a few hundred $ going into next year.  

Dave mentioned that we are looking for an improved Website, if there is one out there that works well and is within our budget.

The league structure this year was approved and will be 15 teams in the 3 divisions as shown below.

The Lizard Lickers team will stay intact as a frozen team and other SCBL members will play them against the other teams this year so that we can stay at 15 teams
 and play each team once. Next year we will see if Gary can return or if another new manager is available to take that team over.

The remainder of the proposed rules all passed.

Our 2026 Draft Day is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, at 3:00 pm at Dave's house. We picked a later time to help John Clingan in his drive,
 from Lompoc and Dan said that he wants to golf  that morning.

New Rule and Rule Admendment Proposals list
 
1. PASS   --   Change Runner on 1st, 1st and 3rd, PRN13, Hit and Run to "Strikeout, Runner on 1st attemps to steal".   --   Mike D. Trucks
 
2. PASS   --   Change Bases Empty Fielding 1 PRNs #15,16 and 17. From, "Single, Batter tossed at 2nd, if not the 1st hit, otherwise Fly out" .  --  Danial  Stinky Cheese
 
3. PASS   --   Change #34 Base Stealing for Steal of Home to CSR +20.   This is to more accurately reflect the rarity of stealing home.  --   Mike M.  Pond Scum
           
    PASS  --   3a. the defensive Manager may have the Pitcher, "pitch from the stretch", adding a +6 move to home, for stealing calculations,   --  dave  tggers
             and the pitcher will temporarely drop 1 grade for as long as he's, "pitching from the stretch". 

 
4. PASS   --   Change Play Result 20 with Runner on 2nd to:
                                  (2B 5-6) 2nd on E-2B, Runner Scores, (2B 7-8) Single into Right, Runner to 3rd (2B-9) Out at First 4-3, Runner to 3rd   --   Mike M.  Pond Scum
 
                                   Currently 2B9 = 2B8 in all instances except 20 with 2 Outs with Bases Empty.
                                                             3B6 and SS10 both have an instance where they are better than SS9 and 3B5.
 
 
 5. PASS   --    If APBA cards players as DH, they can only DH or play a position as listed on the card. 
          Alternatively, if APBA does not identify a hitter as a DH, but that player ONLY played as a DH in MLB, (no time on the field),
          then that player can only DH in SCBL games, regardless of any position APBA prints on the card.   --  Glenn Scrubs
